Installing the game
Download the setup installation from the downloads page. When it has downloaded, run the setup installation. Setup will install the game for you. When setup is done installing, it may notify you in case you are missing the Microsoft .NET platform or DirectX. In this case, download and install the required components before playing the game.
System Requirements
Processor: 1.4 GHz
System memory: 256 MB
Video memory: 128 MB (not shared with system memory)
Video card: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible with latest manufacturer drivers
Sound card: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible with latest manufacturer drivers
Platform: Windows 2000 or XP, with latest service pack installed
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Network: Internet connection or LAN
Note that your Windows should be up-to-date with updates from www.windowsupdate.com. This should include the latest version of the Microsoft .NET platform. If needed, you can download the .NET Framework 2.0 here and the latest DirectX here.
Patching the game
When patches are released, you do not always have to download the complete setup installation. See the downloads page if there is a patch available for the version you have. You can see the version number of your installation in the right bottom corner of the game launcher (note that only the first two decimals matter).
Installing a patch is as simple as unzipping. Just unzip the contents of the zip file to your Bloodmasters directory. Make sure you keep any directory structures intact in the process of unzipping.
